Whoa, a date?

We went to see Larry the Cable Guy. We were absolutely dead center, in the front row. My neck still hurts from looking so far up it was almost backwards at Larry. It was miserably cold last night, with a horrible wind whipping around downtown. Yuck!

We got stuck in the parking garage. Thanks, asshats, learn how to drive! (Yes, that means you, every dipshit in Missouri who didn't take driver's ed...)

But after that we went to Bartolino's South and ate dinner. We waited, the bar was overflowing, so we were basically stuck in the coat room. I didn't mind, because I was fondling some old woman's drop-dead gorgeous mink the whole time. Just before we were seated, someone came and was helped into her full-length Dior fox. Hubba hubba, what a coat! I really, really like fur on other people :)

We dressed up, but of course not in full-length Dior foxes. It was fun, and now that I think about it, it was actually our most officially "dateish" date. Yeah, I've know Dennis for 2 1/2 years, and we're finally dating. Hehe! Yeah, and the food was delish too!

I am sure there is a story behind why this is the first "dateish" date, after 2 1/2 years. But congrats anyway...

Hahaha!

My other blog explains more of the back story. (http://tornado6.blogspot.com)

Other than that, it was the first time we've gone out to a show, etc. and a nice dinner in the same evening like a real "first date" kind of thing. Since we live together, we usually just eat at home, or watch a movie at home, or however that works out. Nice dinner OR a show, not both at the same time ;) We go out, it's just that it never winds up being as "formal" as this particular night was.
